The wooden barn has a gambrel-roof which is hinged and lifts up to give easy access to the interior and hayloft section. The barn has double opening doors at the front with a window are either side. There is also a winch and pully located on the top gable that can be used to lift up the heavy bales of or grain sack that are included with the farm toy set. Inside the barn is a ladder that leads up to the hayloft and a tool rack with a spade, broom and hoe for cleaning and maintaining the barn. Four pieces of fencing are also provided to help section off the outside area. The Plan Toys Barn Set can be used with the farm toys in the range.
